The Seattle Indian Center serves the very poorest people among us, the homeless and the destitute. We provide some of the basic needs for people who simply have nowhere else to turn. These are the people for whom we began our work. And these are the people who are still the primary focus of our efforts.
The fastest growing segment of the homeless population is single women with children. By working with these vulnerable families, we break the cycle of poverty at its core.
